Responsibilities:

The HR Intern will be responsible for various HR-related tasks including administration, payroll, statutory transactions, leave coordination, timesheet management, HR reports, job description filing, performance appraisal oversight, skills development, employee training, health and safety management, filing systems maintenance, departmental oversight, and more.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Degree: Human Resource Degree
  • Knowledge: South African HR Legislation, Basic Conditions of Employment Act, OHSA Act
  • Skills:
    • Problem-solving
    • Resilience (stress handling)
    • Excellent oral and written communication
    • Presentation and business communication skills
    • Time management
    • Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
